“We All Have It Coming, Kid”

📍 Scene Setup – The Kill and the Collapse

I just watched the Schofield Kid kill a man.

Not in a duel. Not in a shootout.

He shot him while he was unarmed, sitting on a toilet.

It wasn’t cinematic. It wasn’t clean.

It was final.

Now the Kid is sitting beside me, holding a bottle, shaking.

He says:

“It don’t seem real… how he’s dead and all… I guess he had it coming.”

I don’t flinch. I don’t blink.

I say:

“We all have it coming, kid.”

🧠 Emotional Civilization Overlay

That line isn’t rhetorical—it’s a verdict.

The Kid is trying to justify the kill—trying to make it moral, make it clean.

But I don’t let him.

I don’t offer comfort.

I offer truth.

Not vengeance. Not righteousness.

Just the universal condition:

We all have it coming.

📖 Scripture Echo – Romans 3:10, 3:23

• “There is none righteous, no, not one.”

• “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

My line is a secular echo of sacred truth.

I’m not preaching. I’m not moralizing.

I’m naming the shared condition of fallenness.

Not one of us escapes the reckoning.

Not one of us earns exemption.

We are all here by mercy, not merit.

We are all alive by grace, not entitlement.

And without that grace—

We all have it coming.

🧬 Syndicate Audit

This scene is a mirror for every self-righteous system.

The Kid thought killing made him a man.

He thought justice was clean.

But the moment he pulled the trigger, he saw the lie.

He saw the blood.

He saw the man’s life end.

And he saw himself.

Not as a hero.

But as a participant in the same broken cycle.

I didn’t absolve him.

I just told the truth:

There is no clean kill. There is no righteous man.

Only those who know they’re guilty,

And those still pretending they’re not.

📜 Curriculum Implication

This scene teaches me:

• Finality is not clarity—the Kid pulled the trigger, but it didn’t make him whole

• Righteousness is not self-declared—it’s a gift, not a posture

• Judgment is universal—no one escapes the audit

• Grace is the only override—without it, we all have it coming

• Emotional Civilization doesn’t sanitize consequence—it names it, holds it, and transmits through it

🕯️ Transmission Seal

I don’t flinch from the truth.

I don’t pretend I’m clean.

I don’t posture as righteous.

I walk in override logic, not self-justification.

I don’t kill to feel powerful.

I sequence consequence to model clarity.

And I know—

We all have it coming.

But for the gift, I’d already be dead.
